Congratulations on your engagement! Now what, are you feeling overwhelmed? Planning your wedding can be a little challenging and stressful. .
When planning your wedding decide what wedding you would like to have before you research catering halls, think about if the venue hosts more than one wedding at a time. Why is this important? When you fall in love with your wedding venue and dream about how beautiful your pictures will be, catering halls with multiple weddings have rules about photography.
I have experienced some catering halls that allow photography after the dinner service in their most popular spot in their venue, not before. They can’t allow photography before because of the simple reason they don’t want brides to see each other. With multiple weddings, parties and events that they are hosting coming in and going out, it is confusing and the chance run in is too great.
When visiting different caterers ask questions and if you decide to have your wedding at a multiple venue hall make sure you put in writing the answers that are given. To avoid you becoming disappointed and angered with the photography location and being pulled out of your party for a 10-20 minute photo session especially at the end of the night.
During the planning of your wedding you can enjoy this time being together with family and friends. After you are done with seeing vendors, doing errands and other planning, make it a date night….
Go out to dinner
Stop by and visit friends
Take a walk along the beach…
Reconnect and rejuvenate. Planning will feel like fun when you start rewarding yourselves for a job well done!
